Relaxing Saturday...

We are enjoying a most relaxing Saturday here at the Salmoiraghi household. It has been one of those crisp cold days, kinda nice. Joe ended up grilling a couple steaks on the grill, and the puppy watched intently. Amanda cleaned house a lil' bit and worked on Christmas stuff. And there was great rejoicing... yay.

Verily I say unto you, Joe has a lot of homework due by Sunday night. Two papers to be exact, has he started them... nope. Will he start them... only the Lord knows that answer.

We found out some medical stuff on our new family member. He has a heart murmur, which at his age (3 months), is a congenital disease. Hereditary. No fun. The price we paid for him at the pet store is that of if he was a pure-bred AKC registerable dog. They only offer to take the dog back and refund or trade-in. Well, we don't want to give him up, we love him so.

So, we are off to the pet store to at least inform them of the issue of dogs who are coming from breeders who are producing pets with medical issues.

Be Blessed!

So, we got a...

PUPPY!!!! Yuppers, we sure did. He is a 3month-old (as of tomorrow), Shiba Inu. He is about as rambunctious as any young boy-child! His name is Copernicus, we just call him "Copper." So, yeah, we are a mommy and dayy, kind of, haha. praise God for this prescious pup!

He loves people, so he asked for anyone in the area or just wants to visit, they shoul see him! Yupp, that's what he pup says!

Turkey Fryer + 17lb Turkey + 2 People = YAY!

So, I just had to tell you all (whoever "all" of you might actually be) that deep-frying a turkey is just the best dang thing since, well, okay... sliced bread! I mean sliced bread is awesome, but come on, anyone can slice bread with a knife anyday. So yeah, it was awesome, tasted great, fresh and juicy! Now, we have a ton of leftovers to make home-made turkey pot-pies and jsut stuff to eat for a while, yay God!

School, ugh

Hey, this is Joe here. A bunch of assignments due by Midnight tonight... Not fun. Rule #1= don't slack again! Rule #2= never take 8week condensed courses online... EVER!

We just got back from leading worship for the Hillside Chapel Youth Group here in Fairborn. It was awesome, to be honest, I needed it. I, myself, have been in a kind of spiritual funk. I feel drained, emptied out.

Tonight helped me to come to a point of getting very close to joy, His joy. It's really ahrd to explain, maybe I will pour out my heart in a later post... <><
